Miragus is a city known as the southern capital. It is the location of the Kisaro Academy of Sorcery.
Overview
Miragus is a large city surrounded by rocky mountains and open wilderness. A tall central structure can be seen from the mountains outside the city, while the Kisaro Academy of Sorcery rises prominently above its surrounding buildings.[1][2]
The city contains markets and shops selling magical implements, antiques and other goods. One antique shop visited by Amira sold a magic-driven lantern that was approximately two hundred years old for 3.25 million fonce.[3]
Amira expressed an interest in exploring Miragus and wandering through its many alleys. From the Floating Gardens of the Kisaro Academy of Sorcery, much of the city and its surrounding landscape can be seen.[4]
History
Amira visited Miragus after traveling through the mountains surrounding the southern capital. Although it was apparently her first time entering the present city, she had previously visited the Kisaro Academy of Sorcery and remembered some of its locations.[5][6]
While looking over Miragus from the academy, Lilicena warned Amira that long-lived people frequently watched towns and communities change or disappear. Amira nevertheless remained optimistic and looked forward to discovering the city for herself.[7]
